Tresory
Delete account and data
In the app
- In Tresory, open Settings › Account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Your photos on the device are kept. After confirming, you have 30 days to cancel the deletion. After that, your account, your entries and all files in the Cloud Vault are permanently deleted. Backup copies are deleted no later than 30 days after that.
You can delete individual photos directly in the app. Deleted photos stay in the trash for 30 days. If you delete a photo permanently, we remove the file from the Cloud Vault after a further 30 days for security reasons.
Without the app
You no longer have the app? Send us an email at service@tresory.app with the subject “Delete account”, from the email address you used to create your account. This way we can be sure that the request comes from you. We usually process requests within one month and confirm the deletion by email. If you also want your contributions in group chats deleted, please say so in your email.
What is deleted
We delete your account including email address and username, your albums and photos including the files in the Cloud Vault, your messages and one-time photos in one-to-one chats, and your membership in shared albums. What you wrote or sent in group chats remains available to the other members of the group and appears as “Deleted account”; your username and ID are then no longer linked to it. If you do not want that, choose Delete account and group posts in the app when deleting: we then delete your contributions in group chats for all members. They stay stored for another 30 days as evidence for reports and are then permanently removed. Retention obligations, for example for subscription receipts, remain unaffected (see privacy policy).
